Welcome to Parent with Awareness!

I have decided to create my own website/blog after the deeply frustrating experience of relying on the  “professionals” to create my sites originally. I was stuck with unsatisfying sites that did not function as I needed them to and, oh yeah, not to mention the money it cost me.

The wonderful gift of this journey is the knowledge that I am no longer dependent on someone else to get my site work done.  I’m going this route. It is a  very slow process as I am not a website designer, computer savvy or a writer but I am getting there. And if you’re excepting perfect grammar and excellent spelling…well, if I don’t pick up on it initially and spell check misses it that’s how it will remain and hopefully I will still make make some sense. I’m not an editor and I’m just trying to get my thoughts down before they leave my mind.  This site is also at the mercy of my moods, laundry and dishes, chauffeuring kids around, energy level and most importantly, all that comes with being a single mama.

My intention is to have an informative, thought-provoking, radically honest, real life, serious and playful site that will support transformation in parents, babies/young children, families, and the world.  Looking forward to hearing from all of you interested in my practice Parent with Awareness!
