I am offering free phone sessions the entire month of October!
I am so in love with my 13 yr old daughter and I love the deeply connected relationship we have. She inspires me, teaches me, she is wise and makes healthy, meaningful choices in her life and we have a blast together! It is my desire to support all parents having this type of relationship with their children and to support parents raising emotionally healthy & whole, fearless, empowered, and AWARE children.
To support my endeavour I will be offering free phone sessions (and free Skype sessions for my international parents) the month of October to anyone wanting to explore my approach to parenting and life. Phone sessions are one per household and can encompass any questions about Aware Parenting/Parent with Awareness, any issues you are having with your infants to children 8 yrs old, such as understanding crying and tantrums, anything about parenting and parent-child relationships/bonding…anything and everything.
I believe so much in my work and have such a desire to share it and support parents and children that I want to create this opportunity for free access….so, FREE Phone Sessions for all!

THE HIP MAMA’S MORNING CLUB
one hip mama goddess!
Our Hip Mama Club is back! This is a six-week series that explores ways to keep intact and expand your essential hipness in the first year of mamahood…and beyond. Infused in our conversations about how to hold on to and celebrate hipness through mamahood will be Parent with Awareness strategies for your daily mama life with your babies. The strategies I will hold out to you will reduce ”mommy exhaustion”, deepen your bonding with your baby, and support you being full of energy and full of mama-hipness…and keep you out of those baggy sweats, kakhi -pleated mom shorts, and old T-shirts 
When: Wednesday, August 24 for six weeks
Time: 10:30-12:00
Where: My office in Carrboro
Fee: $75 per mama
This series is open to expecting mamas and mamas with their 6 week olds up to a year. Space is limited to keep this gathering intimate and cozy. Baby’s are welcome! Lite, local, organic refreshments will be provided and a very HIP T- shirt for the mamas.

Family Playful Practice, led by Jaime Powell Join us for a daylong retreat of guided yoga, meditation, fun and games, all designed to facilitate connection, understanding and play with families. This day of practice is offered freely; donations to The Stone House are gratefully accepted. Jaime Powell is a yoga teacher, life coach and ally for people of all ages, with a special focus on cultivating self love and… sacred playfulness. At the same time, Community Work Day Many hands make light work… help us get ready for Spring! We’ll be sprucing up the grounds, showing some love with paint, and that general “gotta clean up this mess” kind of thing. Skills and tools are optional and always appreciated.
